500E gathering in Portland, OR Feb. 23rd, 2008

You are invited to a E500E Enthusiast Gathering in Portland, Oregon. At a recent MBCA DIY day we had 6 E500/500E owners in attendance. We decided we needed to have a get together to share mods and tips. I want to extend an invitation to anyone on the board -- would love to see cars from Washington, Idaho, British Columbia, etc.

When: Saturday Feb. 23rd noon to 5PM
Where: Portland International Raceway (PIR)

This will take place during the PIR Grand Reopening event. The track was resurfaced and the back corners were reconfigured. The Grand Reopening is sponsored by the friends of PIR, whose mission is to preserve and enhance PIR as a resource for those who use it as both participants and spectators. Schedule:
12:00 p.m. - Free hot dogs & chips
12:00 p.m. - Bicycle tours on track
1:00 p.m. - "Touring Laps" in your own street car or street motorcycle, $10 donation per tour
1:00 p.m. - Free Skid Car Sessions Available - donated by Pro Drive
5:00 p.m. - Drags - Tune & Test, $25 donation, Brought to you by PIR, weather permitting
