There were two smoke silver W124 300TDT's one of which was mine (the other was Carpe Diem's) and one blue gasser W124 300TE (Justin's).

There was also one black W123 300TD (Garrett's?).

I counted 23 cars at Smothers and one Dodge Diesel Pickem up truck. I know there were at least 5 gassers there Jim B's SEC, My SEC and LuvLaw's 450SEL and Will's V12 and Justin's car. There Might have been another or two but I'm such a newbie I Could not tell.

I just know that it was a blast to drive down San Antonio Rd and look in my rear view mirror and see all the classic Benz's, not to forget about the ones in front too. I was somewhere in the middle of that drive and had the best of both worlds. I doo have some pictures from IKEA and Smother's but I have to transfer them to a disc then up load them to Photobucket. It s***s not to be online from home right now. Nor have my laptop working. I have to use this rented byt the minute computer....OUCH!

Feedback

I took some photos and links to the service manager at Smothers. He was impressed with the size of our crowd and said he'd put the pix in their album. It's clear from his reaction that we will be able to use their lot again in the future.

Autobahn

The last picture of thread #515 almost looks like a German Autobahn scene. Grey skies and open concrete highway.

Looks like a great bunch of participants and cars !!!

It was a blast. I'm somewhere in the rear of the entourage in the second of 2 SEC's that they allowed to tag along.
Now that I'm finally back online with my computer. Here is a slide show of all of us at Smother's before the drive the the Cheese Factory.
