Los Angeles Mid California GTG ??

Over the last two years I seem to catch Get Together announcements
for California that center around San Francisco / Bay Area / Mid California.

I am surprised that I don't see any for Santa Barbara down to Long Beach.

Seems to me there must be enough of us.

Have I missed the postings ?

I need to make a trip to LA. I'd love to drive down and meet the LA crowd.

Maybe you should start the process. Start small and work up to whatever develops. Southern California seems like a place that GTG's would be easy to put together in. You certainly have the weather for it.

My join date to this forum is December 2001, and the first couple of years after that, we had a lot of GTG's.

I think I've attended nearly every one, at least 10 or so.

After a while, they just petered out.

I'm up for one, if only to meet for coffee.

I bet Ernesto would come. He can't say so right now, since he's banned and whatnot . . .

Sounds good, Santa Barbarbra isn`t that far, we might be able to work our way south. might be tough though, sleeping late, geting up scratching my rear working my way to the kitchen to make coffee. this retirement life is tough .

Count me in. Trouble is, there are so many MBs in L.A. that each day is a GTG. Would look forward to seeing some local oilburning enthusiasts. Pick a date...
