1st Annual 2008 MBshop New England summerfest..........June 14,2008

To be held in Torrington CT, on Saturday June 14th.
One of our members has volunteered his hotel for the met up, and given us a special room rate of $69.99 a night for those that have to travel far. Big thanks to snp8990!

http://www.qualityinn.com/ires/en-US/html/HotelInfo?hotel=CT084&promo=gglocal.The

For food we have two options; one go to a local place, two bring stuff and have a BBQ with hot dogs and burgers.

This GTG is open to all MB's, so come by, lets talk cars, eat some food, and drink a few beers!

When making a room reservation tell them you are with MercedesShop and that Nilesh told them about it.

how many days? I just got back from the NC gtg which was 5 1/2 for me so 6 hours for this one ain't bad. I'd preffer a 2 day stay if there is enough to do and enough people go.

Hi,
Since the event is going to be on a Saturday,we do not know how many people would be able to make it on the Sunday. If you would like to stay two days at the hotel, the group rate would carry over to both days.

Any ideas on some events so we can make it two days? I was thinking that we could meet up Saturday, have lunch and maybe dinner.

If that shop next door wants to do a tech session, maybe Roy would be interested in coming down.

Hmmm.... I wonder if I can fly out and meet the east coast people at this meet...

The week before is an E30 BMW meet, which I am going to attend....

Gotta check with the boss on the date - faint recollection of us being committed to be elsewhere in June......

If not, we should be able to join up - and could shuttle folk from Hartford airport if the need arises......

Sounds like fun. June will be a good time for me to take off a long weekend, so I'll keep it in mind!

I'm tempted to come, if I can figure out how to squeeze that in. I have another trip I'm already committed to the following week, but I'd sure love to meet you guys. I told Carleton he ought to go, too. He's not that far away.
