Yeah, we do. I'm talking with redassag00 about editing some video that I'll be taking and putting it on YouTube.

Ok guys,

The meet is still on, I had a surprise for everyone, but it looks like things aren't going to work out the way I thought. The 300D was going to make an appearance in FRESH paint, but the body shop is taking longer than expected. Since the W126 is having a/c and tranny problems, and since I want to bring a MB to a MB meet, I have rented a W204 C300 to bring. It's not old school, or a diesel, but it's a MB, and that's enough for me. I'm supposed to pick it up on Friday. Maybe as a treat, I'll bring some pics of the W123's transformation thus far to bring, so it'll be there in "spirit".

I will come with the Dallas folks as well. I am a newbie to this MB world. Got my 85 300D this January. So far I have replaced the upper control arms, fixed the odometer and just got the A/C working a couple of weeks ago. I started a WVO conversion but it looks like I will have to run to Centerville on diesel.

Looking forward to it,
Aaron

I will be departing from Austin. I just got in this afternoon and will spend the weekend catching up with some friends.

I did bring my camera as well. Hope Ol' Turbo shows well, despite my slightly cracked headlight lens. I had to detail the interior due to an unfortunate incident, so that is at least covered. My birthday weekend & a wild afternoon; Date spewed in Ol' Turbo.

Do you give a prize for longest distance traveled?

Now that is funny!!!! I missed the thread as I don't venture over into Open Discussion. That is worse for you than all the drinking she did.
I first became aware of quarters back in the early 80's. There is NO QUESTION I hurled a time or two because of it.
Sometimes it's nice to be old and tore up and boring......
Getting fired up for the meet. Just heard the weather. Hottest weekend of the summer so far!!

Exclamation Just an update on the park

If you're planning on attending tomorrow, please read this carefully for the park.

I'll repeat this tomorrow when we get to the restaurant, but for those of us who read ahead, this will be good info.

When we arrive at the park, you will need to park your car in the entry area (before or after the booth), go in, pay, ($2 dollars per person over 13 years of age). And then you will get a tag to put on your windshield.

DO NOT. I REPEAT, DO NOT ENTER THE PARK WITHOUT PAYING.

The park accepts Cash, Check or Credit card.

This happened last year with another car club and was a big fiasco, with the park ranger police and the lady that worked the booth running after everyone.

One more announcement.

Some attendees will be bringing parts and accessories with them to sell. I just would like to let you know that if you buy parts from these sellers, you are doing so at YOUR OWN RISK. I want us all to have fun, but I will not be held responsible for damaged or defective parts, potential harm, injury, or damage caused by defective or improper parts, or lost money, nor will MercedesShop, BenzWorld, MBWorld, or MBCA.
