On the way back to W PA from the GTG my car got 28 mpg. I had always thought this kind of mileage was fantasy. It must have been that my 85 300D was so elated to have been there that it was flying a few inches off the ground.

Hey locals, I know I was saying I hope to get my W114 up and running for next years' get together...but after discussing with the wife, I'm looking to sell off my project.

It that time again!!!
6th Annual Southeast PA Benzfest Saturday, August 24, 2013 - 11am until ? We can start at 11am and go until whenever. I'm still figuring out what food to do for this year. I'm thinking pulled pork and rolls, grilled veggies, and beverages. If anyone is into bring any food items it would be greatly appreciated. Let's get a head count so I can plan for the food and drink.  I live about 1 mile from the Montgomery Mall to give you an idea of where I am. I'm between Allentown and Philadelphia. I just thought of a unique way for someone to attend your GTG. They could fly in and drive home in Coda. The new owner could enjoy the MB fellowship and leave in a fine piece of German diesel powered steel. Well.....what car should I make the push on to get it GTG worthy? Mark me down as a "long shot".
