It's just a little over a month out now. I'm getting excited, especially since my car is already clean so no last minute detail jobs!

I'm going to plan on staying at the Extended Stay again. It was perfect last time.

you don't need AC. Ive never had it to attend, and despite standing upwind and coughing a lot when near me, Chad never commented negatively.

That's odd. Did he have a cold or something? It sounds like he might have had a cold.

i think it was his reaction to the strong stench of 300 miles in 90 degree heat with no AC

Is there any traffic when coming early in the morning from the East Coast? I would think not, but who knows...

It's not bad if you leave early. The tip down should be pretty painless, but Coming back may be difficult though with beach traffic. I'll be passing you going the other way unfortunately!

Definitely looking forward to this ... I'll probably only be able to stay until 3 or 4 since I have to work Saturday night, but at least that's something!

Looks like I will be in my 300E and my wife will be driving "her" 300TE. The 240D transmission is acting up again and I'm not risking driving it up.

I will be there again this year.

Not sure if I should bring my 240 and win the highest mileage award again.

Or if I should drive an SLK230 and save like $100 in fuel costs....
