24 hours to go!!!

9th Annual Southeast PA Benzfest
Saturday, August 20, 2016 - 11am until ?

We can start at 11am and go until whenever.

I'll do Burgers, Smoked Chicken Breast, Smoked Brats, Roasted Veggies, Quinoa Salad, and beverages including some home brew, soda, and water.

We'll have 5 categories of prizes again, and I believe there will also be some MB inspired art available.

I live about 1 mile from the Montgomery Mall to give you an idea of where I am. I'm between Allentown and Philadelphia. I'll give my address via PM to everyone that will be coming.
Link to Map

Let's start getting a head count so I can plan the food accordingly.

Any food or drink that you bring to add to our spread is appreciated!

Anyone that still needs the address, send me a PM and I'll get right back to you.

I-95 travel alert

For those of you coming up I-95 go early. There is a 9/11 Tribute motorcycle run coming from DC expected to be near the Newark DE tolls around 10 am. They are headed to NYC via the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Its escorted, no passing it will be allowed, and on-ramps will be closed during its passing. I plan to be well ahead of that.

Thanks for the heads up. I got caught in this a couple years ago ... very cool to watch, but it was a long wait!

I'll be bringing the S320, since my dad was nice enough to give me permission to take it up. I was kind of torn since I love my Jeep too and it's a cool vehicle. But I dunno, maybe I can learn something about the poor S320 if I bring it, it just sits most of the time!

Thanks for the heads up Hanno!

I'll be bringing "Bambi", my latest acquisition I picked up for a mere $500 because the prior owner hit, you guessed it, a deer. It is a 92 300TE 4matic in pretty good condition after a few repairs, but I'll let you be the judge of that once you get a chance to see it for yourself.

Crap, sorry - I just realized this was today, so I missed it. Should have set a reminder for myself on my phone. Well, the 300TD is still in the shop until early next week, anyways. Hope you all had fun!

Jason and I had a great time! It was my third time attending, and it was nice seeing some familiar faces, new faces, and really cool cars.

Stefan, thanks for the Ludicrous ride!

Raquel and I want to thank everyone for coming out yesterday. I say this every year, but I really think this was our best Benzfest so far!

I want to give a special thanks to https://www.facebook.com/donkeypunchnj/ for providing the soundtrack to our day. You guys were amazing and created the perfect atmosphere for Benzfest. I hope you all agree to come back for the 10th Benzfest next August!

I also have to thank William W Hopper for providing the brats again this year. They were a hit and you and David were missed.

Thank you to everyone that brought a food item or beverage. We all helped make yesterday a memorable event and I look forward to seeing all of you again for the 10th Benzfest!

PS: There were some amazing photos and even a live stream of the event. If anyone can post their pics or videos, it would be appreciated.

Thanks again for another great GTG, Chad! I should have checked this before on Friday. I guess it was those bikes that tied traffic up on 95, but we had a great time, once we were there. I can't believe next year will be number TEN! Wow!

Happy birthday, man!
