Time: From about 5 PM to ?

We should be parked Northwest of the star in the Map Quest guide, in the second or third parking rows. It will be obvious when you get there.....

Don't eat before you get there, because there are a number of decent restaurants on site and nearby, as well as fast food joints if you're in the mood for a cholesterol overdose.

Normally there are a number of car clubs that meet there to show off and “chew the fat” with the other car buffs, we can join them. I have seen everything from a 1940’s Packard and a “Torpedo Back" Pontiac to a few “Hot Rods”, to some rather mean Street Rods, one guy came all the way from New Jersey!
It should be a fun deal, because you never know who or what will be there.

Damn-it Hef! You've got to give us more advance notice. I'll be on travel then. Sorry I'll miss it.

I'll be in VA all weekend - dagnabbit. And this time I wouldn't have had to drive the Subaru!:(:(:(

Well, how was it? Who went? I was in NC for the last two weeks and couldn't make it. Anybody take pictures?

Apparently it was a cruise in type event that meets there evert saturday night. Myself in the SEC and 3 SLK's from people on Benzworld were the only MB's there, lots of other neat cars there though.

Maybe we can caravan down there sometime this Fall, if they do it on a regular basis.

I would like to make an event, but, this time I was in Mich to visit for awhile and saw the "Dream Criuse". If you are a car buff, I highly recommend checking it out next year. According to the local papers, over 40,000 old cars and between 1-1.5 Million people ! Hopefully someone will come up with an idea for an event in Northern VA or Central MD in Oct., when it is cooler. And, Hef, thanks for all your efforts to get these old MBs together.

We're getting together at Chad's house on the 27th. Why don't you come to that one?
