Wink Howdy!

Hey guys,

I am temporarily in Southern New Jersey for work and would love to join in some GTG fun with Mercedes people.

My 1987 300D is parked in my back yard in Texas waiting on the completion of its cylinder head rebuild... I wish I could have the car with me, but putting it back together is taking much longer than expected due to not being home much and difficulties with the machine shop who worked on the head.

I see many M-class and sedans around here, many of them from the early 90's. It is nice to see "parts cars" still driving. My Benz may be old, but it is not easily replaced with crappy new cars which cost ten times what I payed for the wonderful relic!

I hope I can meet up with some of you classic Mercedes-Benz owners and perhaps I may even get my car finished before I leave the area. That would be nice...

I can probably do Sept. 4. Leaving for London on the 8th. With Chad's GTG a couple weeks later, that will create a nice GTG-rock concert-GTG sandwich for me!

Boy, I just checked my schedule for September. That's going to be a busy month of Mercedes-related activities.
