Powerpig, I did not know about him doing any postings on Craigslist but next time I am there I will let him know. But as far as a Moron that is kinda strong words to use. Not everyone ( me included ) is savy in regards to how something put out there looks from the outside. It could also be his son trying to help his Dad out I do not know or even a well meaning friend. Anyway I will be in there this coming week and will let him know.

Sorry, but when you don't have enough sense to follow rules and post your business ad in inappropriate categories, you look like a moron. Take a look.

Again got it! I am going there Tuesday to sort out some driveline issues as well as exhaust items. Possibly go ahead and buff and detail the 85. I am taking the folks to my Dad's USMC basic class memorial dedication next week and he has requested his SD as his ride of choice.

The 2011 Spring Powerpig GTG

It was great to see everybody at the GTG yesterday. Thanks to Mr and Mrs Powerpig for hosting another great gathering at their house. Even though he was practically delirious from lack of sleep, Kevin put together another fun GTG with all manner of barbecued meat and mushrooms.

I'll post a few pictures below. Thanks to Miguel (Delibes) and Bree for driving all the way from Rhode Island and Bob (BobK) and Kathy for making the trip from Northern Kentucky to hang out with us for the afternoon. I am convinced that the best part about owning a Mercedes is meeting all the other people we meet at forums and get togethers like this.

I knew it! I knew it! PP doesn't have any real cars. He's tricking you. Those are inflatable models and the air compressor is right there to prove it! (pic #4 of the second set)

Yeah, yeah, people having a good time, nice cars, yada, yada. We wanna see the food!

I think if you hold your cursor over each picture, you should be able to see the names of the people in them from left to right. Yes, Mistress is in several of them. I promised not to put the ones of her baking the trifle in here . . . .

I just have to say, that pink pig grille has to be about the most macho-isimo cooking unit I've ever seen, easily competing with a full size X-tra large big green egg

Appears all the attendees had a great time!

Hey, you didn't see it in the pics, but I have an egg too! Must make me twice the man!

All kidding aside, WTH did you find someone to make your custom pig grille?

Secondly, are you cooking any pork butts on your egg? That seems to be the slow cook dish of choice for the poster's on the egghead forum. I've never tryed one myself, as my dear wife won't touch pork of any sort.

I've made some mean country style ribs & pork loin roasts, but an awesome twelve hour cooked butt is a delicasy I've yet to experience.

The man has a veritable museum of smoking and grilling right outside his dining room door. If he gets another grill, there won't be room for anyone to stand out by the grill!

You know, Stoneseller, if you REALLY want to cook a pork butt on your egg, all you have to do is have a GTG at your place. There will be no shortage of vintage Mercedes owners there to help you eat it.

I thought I had one with the Big Green Egg in it. Powerpig has a plethora of barbequing and grilling devices, not to mention antique refrigerators . . .
