Sterling is right next to Leesburg. You can sneak away for an hour or so and come over to Pig's PEN (edit).

Hmmm... But I'd have to show up in my Union uniform. I'll see how long my Civil War reenacting group's spring training runs - maybe head out there afterwards...

Guys I spoke to Piggy Piggerson yesterday and talked about doing one at Sugarloaf Mountain, theres a large lot on the backside of the mountain thats usually empty along with tables and outdoor grills, plus its near the stone steps if anyone wants to hike up to the top. just a thought though. pretty nice view from there if you havent been to it yet. I've never had complaints from any of the dogs.

Its located near Dickerson, Md

Wouldn't that be likely to be too cold still on April 4th? There are certain ones of us who do not take too well to cold . . . .

I think the 4th will work for me as well and I'm looking forward to meeting you folks.

Anyplace is fine with me

First the wife, then Dee8go and now you. It's MR PIG! Anyway, the last time we had one on a mountain, Mistress did shots and slid down, Dee8go was lost in the woods for three days and I don't think we ever saw that other guy again!

Uh oh. Don't anybody call him by his old school nickname: Piggly-Wiggly

Well, just check with MISTER Power Pig first and make sure he can get his grill and smoker up there . . . .

powerpig 03-25-2009 08:53 PM

I have a portable grill, but the smoker takes 15-20 hours to smoke a good amount of meat. If I stay on the mountain overnight, I may meet up with something that looks like Johnhef's avatar.
