If you can't make it to Penske by 10:00, there will be two Rendezvous points along the way to give a chance for the stragglers to catch up. #1- We will exit the 10 fwy at Etewanda (just past the 15 going East) and travel along side the freeway on the frontage road. If you are waiting there, fall in and continue on with us. We will then get back on the freeway and continue on. #2- We will stop along Oak Glen Rd. across from Yucaipa Regional Park (approx address 34716). We will wait there until all drivers have arrived, and continue on to Riley's.

My brother is willing to make up some personal name tags for those who would like one. The info on the name tag will include your Name, Screen Name, Year & Model Car (and name of car if desired), City. Please edit the "Roll Call" list to reflect the proper info if you would like a name tag made.

Sad to tell you that "Betty" and I will not be making the drive this weekend. Since getting her engine running a few weeks ago (Rich and I did a non-turbo/turbo motor swap) , it's been running rough and I haven't been able to figure it out. I took the 5th injector out and it was saturated with raw fuel, so I don't think that cylinder is firing. I just re-built the head, so I don't think it could be related to the top end and I may have to get another bottom end. Either way, it's serious enough not to drive the car until I get her fixed.

Which parking lot at Penske will we be meeting at?

They are on both sides of the 10 freeway. On the north side is the new maintenance facility.

On the south side of the freeway is the car lot.

I offered to let him drive the white 300D, but he has another commitment that he will honer (he was trying to be two places at once).

I don't know if they reconfigured the parking lot at the main sales lot, but it's very, very small. There's no way we'll be able to park our cars there.

The only parking area that I'm aware of is to the left hand side as you pull into the driveway where you bring your car in for service.

Hey, it looks like the "O Gray Mare" and I will not be able to make it tomorrow. She has developed an intermittent knock and is smoking black when hard pressed. I guess I shouldn't had cleaned out the banjo bolt and high pressure switch and reattached, as the PO had it disconnected...
