That was my original question as to the reason to consider the north entrance.

Point 16 is the true entrance where the assent up the mountain really starts. The Mitchell Drive entrance just goes along the river within the park. There's no difference which entrance you use as long as you end up at point 16 on that map. (With that being said, Mitchell Drive/East Rock Road and Davis Street are you only two options to get into the park, anything else is gated shut or a dirt path)

This goes without saying but just in case..... Drive slow in the park, there are a number up blind spots driving up that road to the meet point.

Yep, that's what I figured............it's the long way around to get to that parking area. I'll do it outside the park..........probably faster.

How come this thread is not stickied? Looks like if I do show, it will be with the 240D, which is also for sale, (300D is in NY). I'm not bringing the pop tester, since it can get messy.

The Events forum usually only has one or two new threads in a month so its really not needed. There is a sticky in the diesel forum however.

I thought you were going to fix up the gray one? When did you decide to deligate "Hemi" to parts car status?

The number of little hidden jewels in this state almost never cease to amaze me.

We got lucky, its going to rain all day today but it will clear by dawn tomorow. Expect nice sunny skies and expansive views of Long Island Sound

lol the hemi. my euro as youll see tomorrow, needs alot(shouldnt be on the road), most of which i can grab from my other car, instead of give it away for $500. i know i would never get my money back fixing a US 280ce so why fix up both. that car needed body work the most, which was getting out of hand.
