2009 Northeast Shop Forum Meet.............June 6,2009

In conjunction with the 10 year annivesary of the forum i'm setting up a meet for the Northeast area!

Date-Saturday June 6th
Time-11:00
Place-East Rock Park, New Haven CT
We will be meeting at the top of the hill in the parking lot next to the main monument. There are picnic tables very close to the lot that we will be making use of

Wharton Brook Park in Wallingford was my first choice but they charge an entrance fee.......So after some discussion I choose East Rock because of its nice central location and because its a fairly big park..... so those of you with family members can make a trip out of it and bring the entire family!

PM me with any questions or concerns.

Damn I can see that from my school.

I might stop buy with my Silverado, might even take the shovels out of the bed and hose the dirt off.

I'm concerned with this whole "bring the entire family" thing, do I have to?

It's a nice place. Had many a picnic there with the Mrs. in her pre-Mrs. days when she was going to SCSU.

The line "bring the entire family" is there as a bargaining chip for people to use if the need comes up

Awesome, looks like we're getting a good turnout already!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I just got word back from two people. One is bringing a kickass camera so we'll all be able to get some great shots of our cars. (My hope is that we'll be able to find somewhere that will allow us to have the valley in the background when we take them)

The other person is going to be somewhat of a special guest from the forum...

Defiantly; you don't have to pay to get into our gathering

That being said Greenwich isn't far from New Haven at all. So thats Mercedes Shop in the morning and Concours d' Elegance in the afternoon. Some people might even want to pull a Mercedes convoy down 5-15 if you decide to go. Two meets in one day, what could be better?

Well, they have two days, so we'll only show them up on one.

Get the roll eyes away from my truck. I'll probably be ridding with my buddy in the S600, or his new CL55 AMG if he coughs up the dough and buys it this weekend.
