N. County San Diego GTG

Hey folks,
I'm trying to arrange a get together / meet and greet in North County San Diego. (The forgotten Land). Would love to focus on pre-2000 cars. (But of course all would be welcome). Coffee and donuts or breakfast sort of thing in Carlsbad/Vista/San Marcos/Escondido area. Just a good time to get together and show what your workin' on, network, and make a few new friends.

I'm thinking either Saturday February 27th, or March 6th. Where we meet will depend on the response we get within the next week or so. (More folks the larger the place).

If you have any interest, or would like to attend, please reply and let me know what day would be best for you. Depending on response, I can have it buttoned up by the 19th.

Just remember, it doesn't have to be pretty to be a classic.

Michael

Thanks Michael for getting this started. Unfortunately I will be up north until Sat. evening, so I can't be there. If it was the Sat. after (March 13), I could be there.

Keep me posted, i am in Vista and could probably get 3 or four cars between my brothers and friends. My car is definitely not a jewel, but it would be fun to meet other forum members!

Since Spaman can make it for the 13th, let's set that date. I'll call Stone to see if I can line something up for that date.
Hey.... tell your friends

Well, Stone opens at 11 and as it turns out, the 13th is not good. So considering Sunday the 14th at Stone, or breakfast at The Original Pancake House in Vista Sunday the 14th.

Any preference?

Michael

I normally go to Church on Sunday morning, but I have the option to go on Saturday evening. So it looks like I can be there on Sunday. I would need to know where to go and how to get there.....Rich

I might be in

Rich sent a e-mail to let me know about this.

Select a date and I'll try to be there.

I do not know the locations of Stone or the Pancake Place so please provide a time and address if at all possible.

Thanks in advance for the work you are about to do.

Here is the website for Stone Brewery. They are on the hill above Auto Parkway in Escondido. I'm going to call and make reservations for Sunday the 14th, 11:30 for 10 (for now) If we need more, I'll figure that out when the time comes. (Hope we do)

I'm thinking that we meet in the parking lot at 10:45. Here is who we have so far.

I'll bring a box of parts for sale/trade/donation.

I'll also be +1 or +2. Will confirm when the date gets closer.
