N. County San Diego GTG on Saturday May 22nd.
Time: 12 noon
Meeting Place: Deer Park Winery and Auto Museum
Who’s invited: All pre-1995 Mercedes
This is our 4th GTG in N. County San Diego (The forgotten land) for 2010. Not a car show, but a chance for those with the Mercedes brand in common to get together and have some fun. The idea is “If it runs, drive it”.
Deer Park Winery has wine tasting, as well as an Auto museum and area for a picnic. (They don’t serve food).
Deer Park Winery is located just off the 15 freeway in N. County San Diego.

We will meet in the parking lot at 12 noon, Wine taste and museum tour thereafter. For those that are up to it we will be heading to Dalton’s Roadhouse on Nordahl Road in San Marcos for food afterword.
If anybody would like to join the fun, please respond so that we have an approximate head count.

For some reason I had it in my mind that it was on the 15th and I invited my friends (Wade & Janet and their new to them 1980 300TD). Now that I know it is on the 22nd, they may not be able to come. I will hope that they can work their schedule so they can make it. We just got their car road worthy tonight ( changed oil, belts, filters etc) after the car sat for several years. They drove it home after purchasing it, and parked it until we had the time to work on it. This car has got to be the nicest low mileage wagon I have ever seen, it is Beautiful!! They are open to joining the fun at future GTG's.

We'll miss you. And look forward to meeting your friends Wade & Janet next time. Oh.. and seeing their wagon. (I'm sure Matt would love to meet them as well, as he has a pretty awesome wagon)
