I'm going to go ahead and post feedback on this event here too.
Just got home, sipping an ice cold Nuke-Brown, reflecting on what an adventure today really was. Definitely ended on a high note!! The collections (reads museums) we saw today are still just blowing me away. I am dumbfounded with the displays these folks have setup in thier homes. Very inspiring and humbling. Truly works of art and talent. Thanks so much for the best road rally GTG I have ever attended!! What a nice group of people to cruise with. 203 miles round trip for us. California is still just as gorgeous as ever. I'll post some pics up soon. All the best. 'Till we meet again, Chris & Sherry Brown

I had a great time yesterday meeting everyone and seeing the cars.
I'd like to give a shout out to Rich and Dennis for putting this thing together and laying out the driving route. You guys are great! There was some really clean W123 wagons and sedans. That beige colored 240D was a time warp vehicle. I couldn't get over the high quality restoration that Michael C carried out on the 280SEL limo. I love the leather interior and the center console between the seats. You really need to post some detailed pics of that car. And you need to give her a name! The Red Baron did great. I got a lot of comments as we drove along up the coast. Made me feel like a rock star. Those collections were mind blowing. Without the pictures I took, I don't think my friends and family would believe me. When I find the cable to my camera, I'll download them to the computer and post them.

Paul,
You ARE a rock star! Red Baron is a sight to behold. Great car. Thank you for sharing it with us. Again, Thank you to Rich and Dennis for putting together such an awesome event. I have never driven all the way up the coast by street. Lots of fun. The collections at the end of the drive were amazing. Michael C |

Hey, I pulled the auxiliary fan off this morning, and was able to slide it in sideways between the brackets and got it to fit between them instead of mounted outside. Mounted on the outside there was almost a 3" gap between the fan shroud and the condensor. Now there is about a 1/2" gap, but I feel it should fit flush against the condensor. I can make out the outline where the old fan fit against the condensor. Can you look at your car and tell me if your fan sits flush against the condensor, and if not, how much of a gap there is?
