Eastern Regional Concours d'Elegance Annual Picnic

and flea market today July 18th in North Potomac, MD. It was a beautiful steamy sunny day with the temperature reaching 97 degrees in the shade as the crowd gathered once again for our annual Concours d'Elegance Picnic and Flea Market. Kevin aka Powerpig and Mrs. Powerpig manned the grills to serve up some wonderful hamburgers and brats with all the trimmings. John Hef and the judges were busy tallying up the scores for some of the most beautiful automobiles to be judged at this event. Congrats to all the winners. Next year I'll show up in time to be judged.....Special Thanks to everyone who helped organize this event and the volunteers who helped make it happen. Below are some pics. Powerpig was working that grill so fast he was like a blurrrr.

Dang that was HOT out there! Many thanks to PowerPig for doing the cooking and to Donna for serving - you guys should get an award!! I agree - October sounds GREAT. But the place was a perfect setting for the picnic. Thanks also to John Hef and the organizers for putting it all together. I too enjoyed seeing everyone and the cars.
