If you don't hear this often , you never read my posts as that's my daily roll out time 7 days a week .

I'm looking forward to this drive , I await the good pictures as I'm not able to drive & take decent photos ~ oh , wait ~ I can't take decent photos when standing still either...... .

Well yes and no but , if you're just interested in blasting along you'd not own a vintage Mercedes Diesel....

I also agree that the W-123 chassis is more comfy on long drives , this is a common bone of contention amongst the W-126 owners ~ yes they get better fuel economy on the open road due to improved aerodynamics but I see more W-123 owners on long trips .

Hesperia isn't far , pop in some good tunes & join us ! .

Just checked the weather forecast for Santa Monica.

There's a 70% chance of rain on Saturday as of today (Sunday).

I don't know if this will change the plans.

I plan to be there unless Sta. Monica slides into the Pacific Ocean .

Yes , my Mercedes trunk leaks , so what ? .

Either you love your old Mercedes or it's some sort of sick fashion accessory , if you love it , DRIVE the damn thing , that's what it's made for & oddly enough , they're good rain cars .

Rain or Shine

We will do the run rain or shine. If it rains, we just may spend more time INSIDE Norm's looking at the cars through the windows. Lets just hope the weather guessers are wrong.
