Safe in sound in Barcelona. Found a nice G-Wagen and will ship next week. Museum will take a week to answer, I do believe the person responsible for interns is on vacation. Keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get stuck in Spain again...

Sure enough, this situation wasn't meant to last: I just got notice that I have been hired by a gallery that auctions artwork on board cruise ships. It's quite an oddball job, and feel very fortunate to have it! Will be flying to Florida in November. Ahhh, the great feeling of not being stuck in Spain!
