NETHERLANDS GTG

Would anybody be up for a GTG in the Netherlands or near? If we get enough people it might even be worth to drive the 6 hours to the Mercedes-Benz museum of Stuttgart!

Last week of December or January would work!

Thanks for the link Miguel - I missed this when you posted it yesterday.

I'll be there - you can count me in.

Seeing as you all can't read my email I'll fill you all in with the planned trip. So far two places have been suggested. They are on either side of the country. But hey it is a small country so from a travel point of view it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Welcome to the Louwman Museum - LOUWMAN MUSEUM

Which is close to the Hague

The Gallery Brummen

Which is close to Arnhem

So far there are three of us going.

If you'd like to join in please send either myself or Delibes an email.

I'm going to send out some invites to other people on this side of the water - perhaps the possibility of Stuttgart will bump up the numbers?

Hi
impressive collections Looks like a hell of a day out!

Sadly, unless I get some work soon I couldn't afford it..and if I get any work I won't have the time...
- plus there's no way the missus would let us drive past the Nurburgring without a spin, she's fancied a go since watching Sabine Schmitz thrashing a Transit round there...

Cheers anyway though!

Now if I could get hold of her mobile number for you... would that make you change your mind?

For those of you who frequent Benz World - Govert says he is also coming along.

So that's four of us so far.

Jurgen where are we going?

Which day is it? Saturday or Sunday?

Small but important details!

Last message before I leave for the Netherlands!
1) The Louwman museum and the Brummell gallery sound exceptional.
2) I will be in the Netherlands for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Any day is fine, although Saturday will be a nice full day without flights.
3) You can reach me at the cell phone provided!

Can't wait to meet y'all!

Just in case the bridge does get finished in time

We're planning to meet at the Louwman Museum (see link above) tomorrow, Saturday 7 Jan @11:00

Will there be any stragglers?

I think not.

As I type this Miguel should be flying back to sunny Spain.

We all - we all four of us - had a great time yesterday visiting the Louwman Museum in the Hague (see post #2 for the link).

I met Miguel at the railway station and had planned to get the bus to the museum. Some how or other I managed to cock things up and we managed to miss the bus. Luckily we were saved by a W123 coupe, Jurgen and Govert.

Thanks guys!

Here are some pictures of the stars that were in the museum.
