Great pictures, and I am not saying that because I am in 2 of them It was nice to meet everyone. The weather was great as well as the company on hand. It is still hard to believe that 1995 W140 diesel has over 300,000 miles on it. Here is hoping everyone made it home ok. I look forward to another get together.

Great day, had a nice ride there and back to CT with the wife, enjoyed seeing all the cars, but never got over to the stable of W123s. Got so busy gabbing at the far end with the W126's and the 250S and 280SEL 4.5, I never got to see your W123! All of the sudden cars were tearing out of the place, with the drivers kind of taking advantage of the gravel to get a little wheelspin in their Diesels.

Well, I will post a few shots I took of the escape in the next day or so. Hope to see the rest of the cars and meet the rest of the crowd at the next one. Jim

Yeah, the Tappan Zee traffic was nasty, but I made up for lost time on the Hutchinson/Merritt Parkways, and 95 once I got past New Haven. Lost of 85 mph plus stretches with a bunch of cars. You know, it was one of those "I was just blending into the stream of traffic, Officer..." situations, but luckily no encounters with the law enforcement types or any really wild drivers. Good drives there and back.

Car looks like a well preserved specimen in the photos. Hope to check it out in person next time. Jim

By the way, who owns the W123 with the Euro headlamps in photo number two? I was hoping to check that one out too, but never got the chance. He was the first to leave the scene. Jim
