I'm sorry I missed it too...I didn't work on the 20th or 21st so I didn't check to see if anyone else from Hartford was going....my loss. I even put the car on insurance expecting to go.

There is a definite GTG at the Greenwich Concorse the first Sunday in June...a taligate thing in the lot across from I-95. Already have a half dozen 500Es meeting up with a few Ferraris, a Countach and a couple Porsches so the more the merrier. Look for another post on this in a bit.

Nice pics of nice cars , BTW. There's nothing like a row of MBs....is there?

Hey Holson, a nice car is a nice car...diesel or not! The folks I hang with aren't uppity like that at all; neither am I, for that matter. C'mon down diesels dudes, if you can.

Hope to see/meet some of you there. Look for a post when the time comes closer.

If you've never been to the Greenwich Show...you are missing some of the world's great cars on display. Sat is US cars, Sun is Europa stuff.

I'll be at the Greenwhich GTG in my Lamoroghini...

Yes sir! Thats some Italian muscle

For those of you that didn't know, Lamboroghini made tractors before they made performance cars. Does that say something?

Is the countach avaliable with a PTO winch..or maybe a manure spreader option?

Ha...love it !! Porsche made some farm tractors too back in the day.

You know what's funny also...my friend with the 83' Lambo has a Sears Die-Hard battery in it...its tiny and looks like a lawn mower battery. Feel free to bust his balls on that one if yous come...I always do.

Thumbs up greenwich concours show

i think it would be great to 'crash' the Greenwich councours with a bunch of clattering mb diesels, hehe.

i think last year it coincided with the NJ gtg so i did not attend even though i am 2 towns over from greenwich..

Oh Yeah!

I will definitely be at the Greenwich gtg! I'll just be sure to wear a little cologne (Howes Diesel Treatment), and bring some wine and cheese (Mad Dog 20/20 and Velveeta). I'll have to dig up a nice stained "wife beater" undershirt or maybe a Nascar shirt. I'm sure I'll fit right in.... RT

Bob,
The most I could swing on my income would be a bottle of Riunite Sparkling Wine!! Will that do? How did I get on this side of the tracks and whose Benz did I steal??

I didn't think about it but in June it might be a little warm outside... with my A/C in its current state I probably won't go. Unless I can fix it before the Greenwich event then I would most probably go. It would be awesome!

or maybe I could just go with rwt in his pristine 300D instead and park my 300CD in RI somewhere.

I'll bring the Dom Perignon... :p speaking of Dom Perignons, my friend actually works at a liquor store. i don't know if it's one of those that sells these kinda champagnes though.

ah.. i probably wouldnt be able to tell the difference between DP and some $14 sparkling wine.

Holson,
No problem. You can ride with me if you need to. Hmmm, drinking and driving..... Anyone make a non-alcoholic "sparkling wine"? Does Welchs Grape soda qualify? RT
