I want to start putting my car in shows and need to learn how to prep it as well as what judges look for.

Any details on this show such as cost to enter car, does it cost to just come as spectator, time and so forth?

Rayson,

The Fashion Island Show is free to the general public since it is being held at the local mall.

I attended last year and had a chance to see some of the most beautiful MB's. The best part is you can bring the whole family and they can shop if they get bored looking at cars!

I have read that this MB show is Display only, and not Judged. The Star magazine has the number to call to reach the people for displaying your MB. I do not know this number at this time........

. I'm getting there but I know there are still many details that need to be tended to before I can enter a show. I still need to get new stickers for the engine bay, finish detailing the wheels wells / undercarriage and finish detailing the engine bay. I don't think the car will be ready until the end of May and I will have to keep a crazy pace to get there.

Afshin, If You need help on the Stickers let Me Know...I Have a Friend at Mercedes That got me all new Stickers for under the Hood! Its The Little Details That matter!
Also I Have a AMG Windshield Sticker/Decal That goes In Place of the Oe Mercedes One That would look great on your car!....

Afshin, I also plan on going Sat. Previous owner has been bugging me for 3 years now to display my MB at this show. But just do not want to be around there for so many hours. And thanks for the compliment. The undercarriage of YOUR MB will not take much to look Outstanding.......Use the ramps !!!!!!!

I'll be there on Saturday as long as it's not pouring. BTW I'll be in the Honda, the 500's staying under cover.

If it's coming down hard it makes driving over the Ortega kind of treacherous and just not worth it. I leave for a business trip on Sunday so I can't make it then.

Sooo lets say it's not raining too hard, where do you guys want to meet? Maybe near the escalators that go down into the food court? Or somewhere in the parking lot outside of the mall?

How about the escalators that go to the BEER court???? If rain , no show for me ....................And its going to rain. May make it Sunday, if no rain.
