Greenwich Concours GTG, June1

Anybody looking to informally tailgate from 10-2ish in Lot 2 (directly adjacent to I-95). The lots can be just as cool as the show, btw.

Great show and Sunday is Europa Day, always a superb collection of cars right on the LI Sound....www.greenwichconcours.com

(free MB hats at the MB tent too)

Sounds like a great idea. What are the chances that the parking lot is full by 10:00 am? First to arrive 'reserves' a few spaces?

The lot we park in is not the one directly across the street (the website and mailers each label the lots differently for some reason)...that one does fill up first...we have been parking in the lot adjacent to Horseneck Lane, just next to I-95 SB on-ramp. Its a 5 min. walk to the show.

Best spots (and shade)are towards back by some of the transporters...I'm going to try to get there around 9-930 with my crew.

Jim,

The link posted has directions. Your suggestion would be
parking lot 1 - right?

0900-0930, I wonder if I could meet you guys there that early. I guess I'll try. It would take quite a while to drive down there I'd imagine. Three hours? That means I'd have to leave at 6-ish

I suppose once if I arrive early I could 'reserve' a spot or two. Maybe if I park on two spots

Thumbs up

Yessir...Lot 1 as shown on the website(its shown as Lot 2 in the mailers for some reason)...there should be plenty of spots in that one in the back.

Its a good 1.5 hours for me to get there too...but its worth the drive to see the show though....so no bar crawling late in Beantown on Sat. nite Holson !!

I trust someone less digitally challenged than myself can bring a camera and post some shots of the day.

Yes, its across from exit 3 if you are coming down I-95 SB.

No need for anyone really to get there at 930 to meet up...we'll all meet up sometime that day at the parking lot. Lunchtime would seem a good time. I plan to spend at least a couple of hours at the show...I always miss stuff each year, and every year the show gets bigger.

It will also take me a good hour and a half. Depending on traffic on the G.W.B. and I-95. Sounds like a good plan to meet up for lunchtime. I'll meet you there.

Hi everyone, I am new to posting here but like to lurk.

Stefan, I would be taking the same route. Please let me know if you would interested in meeting and cruising up to the show. Anyone else from NJ interested in meeting up for the drive?

Thomas

OK. Any idea were we can meet up. Would the last exit before the toll (Ft. Lee?) make sense?

Yes that be ok but it is really busy in that area. Do you know where Hudson News is (used to be?)

I live about 15 minutes from there so anywhere at all would work out.

The only area I know somewhat is the small strip mall opposite the TV station (don't remember the name). Believe there is a place
were you can by coffee as well. From there you can go straight back onto the 80 on to the GWB. Do you know this place and would this placce work for you?
