Central Oregon GTG
 

Hey, I am trying to put together a Mercedes meet in Central Oregon. It would be for all Mercedes, any make, model, size, year. We would meet at the Mercedes Dealership in Bend (they already approved that we have it). Lots of motels in Bend to stay at or you can stay at the Sunriver Resort in Sunriver which is 15 miles south of Bend. Lots of things to do in Central Oregon, great fishing, golfing, and shopping if you want to bring your wife or girlfriend. I was thinkin about having a show if their was a good turn out to let all the people in Oregon know whats out there...Sounds Fast (a car audio shop in bend) said they would sponser the meet... I dont have any dates yet I just wanted to throw this idea out and see what people thought and if anyone would be willing to come...Thanks, Evan Kennedy:)

I might be interested depending on when it is, and it doesn't conflict with any other plans I have, oh and if I have time. I've never taken the 300CD on a trip more 300 miles total, but I am sure that it would do just fine (crossing my fingers). I am also sure that there might be several other members from Washington and Northern California, and maybe Idaho that would also be interested in attending.

As far as dates, August 2nd (date of WA GTG) and August 16th (friends wedding) are the only dates so far that I already have plans for.

My dad and I might be going to the Washington meet also... I'd like to have a date set before then or maybe even later in Aug? Any suggestions?

Im thinkin about the 23rd & 24th or the 30th & 31st of August. It sounds like thats what is gonna work best for most people or maybe even earlier in Aug. Any other suggestions?

Late August works for me... sounds like fun.

I won't be able to make it, I can't even make the WA GTG this months due to my schedule at my new job :(

Update...the meet is changed to August 30th and 31st. Id recommend showing up on the 29th cause the drive is going to take a majority of the day on saturday. Then sunday we are going to go up 15 miles north to Redmond to Autocross our cars. If you have any questions please post and I will be more then happy to anwser them. I set out today to get info on hotels for all you to stay at....Make sure when you say you are with the Mercedes meet when you make reservations.
