Houston, Texas
Anyone here from Houston, Texas or near? Anyone interested in a GTG?
|
Don't need a reason
I am always looking for a reason for going to Houston - when?
|
Yeah, Sure, I'm in
Just gimme the details
|
Hey Albert, what part of Houston do you live in? I have a own a shop on Gessner and I-10 (1 red light north of I-10) Give me a call, I would love to see your 500! (713) 467-7000. My baby (1994 E420 - 74,000 miles) is currently having the RENNtech mods installed as we speak. I will have the car by tomorrow. My RENNtech Monolite wheels are due in tomorrow or Friday. Give me a call.

If Renntech is the same Albert that brought his red 500E to Joe Poole lake last fall, you are all in for seeing the most beautiful 500E that I've ever seen, maybe the most beautiful 124 car that I've ever seen. Albert's a really nice fellow too.
I wish I could make it. Maybe next time. Enjoy, |
Yep that's me alright...
Hey Larry, sorry you can't make it.
If you liked it last year, you'd love it now. I have added the following tasteful mods. AMG Monoblock wheels in staggered sized 18X8 shod with 245X40X18 and 18X9 and 275X35X18 rubber. I did the Euro headlights and side marker lights and just added the Euro Red/Clear taillights. Will have the S600 style grill soon and that'll pretty much be that. I may add the stainless steel door sills cause the Cream colored factory one gets a mark each time my foot hits it when exiting the vehicle. See my www.button for pics Tommy, I leave in Pearland, but luck of lucks, I drove the car today. Couldn't have picked a worse day. My 400E is in pieces in my garage. I'm doing the Evap Job on it. I'm down to the heater box in the disassembly process and then on to the Evap core. Between the job, and taking career enhancement courses and the kids, its going to be a slow process. I figure a week to tear it down a couple of hours here and there and then a week to build her back up. Any who, what kind of shop do you have what's the name of it......I work not far from you at 290@610 off W18th. Check out the pics |
Albert,
I own a shop at I-10 and Gessner (Executive Motoring). Stop by sometime. I will have my car back from the shop hopefully by Friday. By that time I will have the RENNtech Monolites mounted. Here is a link of some pictures of my car. 1994 E420 |
Clean
That car is one clean Mutha!
Yeah. I'll have to stop by sometime and check out the eye candy |
Any good MB shop especially for AC work near Sugarland or KATY area?
|
A/C
What's the problem...What model car?
|
1990 300E AC not working
|
uh-oh!
It might be the(gulp) dreaded evaporator core!!!:( .
If that is the case, the repair job is in the neighborhood of $2200-$2800!!!. That's almost half the value of the car.. Was it working last week and just went out or did you just purchase the car and are trying to sort out the A/C? To test the A/C(Evacuate and recharge) will set you back ~$150 I do hope that its nothing to serious. As to Good Shops M.P.H. is out on 10 near Gessner. And I do not know whats near Sugarland |
so is there going to be a GTG? like in the spring? that would be great. i sould have my car perfect by then! unless something else breaks...
|
Spring GTG sounds great !
I'm a new MB owner. Bought a '92 600SEL/V12 in NY and drove it to Houston in November'03. Would love to get together w/ veteran owners in the area. The way the weather's been so mild, pick a time soon.

I am in houston also and would be interested in a get together. I just purchased my first Benz and would like to learn more about them. Email me and let me know. I am usually game Saturday mornings.
