in 2002 MBCA took Indy by storm

Concours at the 500 - lap around the brick yard. then days and days spent burning rubber at IRP

Then there were the nights out on the town!

I think we are still recovering 2 years later - now looking forward to the event this summer at Mid-Ohio - sure it will be the same - maybe just not the late nights on the town - since there is no real town there to get wild in!

Talking starfest 2004

STARFEST 2004 Mid-Ohio
Dear Mercedes-Benz Enthusiast,

The Western Reserve Section(NE Ohio) of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America is hosting MBCA's premiere national event, Starfest, July 31- Aug. 4, 2004, in Mansfield, Ohio, home of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Sunday, Aug. 1, Concours d' Elegance, Monday thru Wednesday, track events such as defensive driving, autocross, and time trials will be held at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Monday evening, acceleration runs will be held at Dragway 42.

Other events during the week include a welcome reception, tech seminars, and seminars for the ladies, tours, rallies, banquets and camaraderie with other Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts from all over the United States and Canada.

It would be especially nice to see a large showing of ML's and G wagons at MBCA's Starfest 2004. Imagine a fleet of ML's and G wagons in varying colors on the green lawn of the Concours d' Elegance or lined up together at the dragstrip.

We would like to show to all that as varied as our choices in Mercedes-Benz automobiles are; their owners can still enjoy the enthusiasm and camaraderie that has always been a part of Mercedes-Benz ownership.

For registration packet, contact John Morrison, gobenzing@aol.com,
330-673-7885, 7783 Diagonal Rd., Kent, Ohio 44240.

Sincerely,

Frank Cozza
Great Lakes Regional Director
National Events Chairman
