Ok, it's time to quit pussy-footing around! Simplified Central TX GTG

Get 'yer MBZ iron running, skip your AA meeting and come hang out for the evening with other Central Texas Benzomaniacs to swap lies and generally have a grand time.

Who: All MBZ owners within earshot, or a tank of fuel and a 1/2 pack of cigarettes.
What: Highly Simplified GTG
When: 7:00 till ?? Thursday August 12, 2004
Where: Burger Tex, 5420 Airport Blvd, Austin, TX
Why: Jeez, do I have to do EVERYTHING for you?

This sounds way more complicated than the super simple, but somewhat small impromptu GTG we had out at Greg's. Even at that, the logistics proved to be a weeklong undertaking .

Small wonder, Greg insists on overcomplicating everything.

Think you can make it Mike? We won't take points off if you arrived in the company car. Honest!

Sounds like a fine evening. I'll try to get my daughter to bring her 190DT.

Thursday is a really bad day for me, but I'm going to find a way to be there....( I would feel like a heel if I didn't).

If I'm muttering in a corner "one day at a time", please understand

Perhaps we just make it a habit to show up at the Round Rock car show every saturday starting at 7:00pm.

Not to cancel this, but wouldn't it be cool to have a whole row of Mercedes around all the rice burners?

It's at the Go Cart Racing parking lot just north and west of the I-35 and 1325 intersection.

Just thinkin out loud...

thursday night's kind of awkward unless you just live real close by or you're unemployed or retired or whatever.

the last central texas get together was not complicated, but what is proposed for August is extreme in it's simplicity.

Don't think I'll be able to make it. Just got back from a "grueling" week in New Mexico, doing that same "grueling" duty as in Austin. Best part was that nothing broke or needed emergency motel room repairs and my game was on, much more on than I was in Austin. End of August sees me spending yet another "grueling" week in Long Beach, followed by two very "grueling" weeks in Mississippi in September. It is definitely a rough route I have, but someone has to do it.
