MBenz/Longston/Everybody Else...

MBenz - I thought I remembered that you were going to be posted to the US in the future? You'd need your badges and window stickers while here....

Longston - I was sort of hopin' for the lederhosen so that I can wander around the Sierra foothills (thistle country) and not get scratches on my legs.

I would especially like to second the idea of lower right-hand corner window stickers (ala the originals) signed by the Mercedesshop boys. One of those could be the secret pass required to get into the festivities on opening day.

I received some sort of window sticker from...

...some car company once....I think it was VW, or Ford, it was supposed to get me better service upon arrival at the shop. Lederhosen would be a good idea for the Ladies, you could have them imprinted with "I got my rear-end serviced at MB Autowerks" and T-shirts reading "I got my front-end aligned at MB Autowerks"
If we end up with bumper stickers, or window clings, how about a member number after, or below it? (Same for the grill badges)
One other remark, if you should have a sign indicating the lubrication bay, I think tha just below those words, it ought to read "Change it hot,and change it often" in honor of Larry Bible....that ought to convince him to cancel any other plans and make the trip to Atlanta!

See ya!
-Larry

David:

That lower right hand signed sticker for admission; would that be called a "sidebar"? :p

Put me down for one as well!

Now, now, JCE

John - Only a litigator would know for sure and I'm not one of those. Not on my life. In my case, a sidebar is where I do my drinking when there's too many yuppies at the main one.

dtanesq,

I will be going to the states, that is right and I definitely want to stick something of the mercedes shop somewhere (should be a grill-badge...) on the car (as long as it is my own benz and not an inferior leased dodge or chrysler).
I am going to take the 300CE conv. with me, but I do not want to have a window sticker (I hope I can drive top and windows down a lot) and I have my own (MBenz) license plate holders, do not want to have a sticker on my bumper or chassis (that just doesn't suit a benz)...

Can we get something with our member name on it as well...(or am I asking too much now)?

I hope I will encounter some fellow members on (and besides) the road...greetingz,

Way too Relevant To Be Buried!

This is a self-serving attempt to get the membership at large to see my "Top 10" post, and I admit it freely!

Come on, we all need a good laugh, especially on the weekend!

How About

Mercedes Shop flame tested 100% cotton terry towels and pads for the Porter Cable 7424? All the "100%" cottons I find flame test as plastic thread on the edges!
