Saw that the Redline 85+ is specially formulated for post '85 engines. Does this also include the 603 motor? Our neighbors have an '87 300TD which of course had the trap on it, but they had the conversion done to the catalyst. I have heard that MB does not recommend any additives for engines with emission control. Please clarify this! Thanks in advance! ------------------ Rgds, Aaron Greenberg MB technician '67 250SE Cabriolet '77 450SL '79 6.9 '79 6.9 '80 300SD '81 240D '85 380SE '89 420SEL '93 300E 2.8 |

There is no problem using the 85+ in any diesel. It's just not a good idea to use the Diesel Fuel Catalyst in 1985 or newer cars.
