Thanks - Help !

Received hood emblem. Fast shippment -thanks. I`m totally lost as to how to remove old and replace with new. Any help or directions will be appreciated. looks to me as if whole hood latch assembly must come off.
P.S. you advised me that visor hinge cover is dealer part. Obtained one. Cant figure how to get visor rod through hinge cover w/o removing shaft from caseing.Did that on another car and visor never stayed upright again. Thanks1
