Cost of Parts via Fastlane

Is it my imagination or just the parts I have needed that indicate that Fastlane Mercedes parts are not as competitively priced as they used to be?

I have this feeling that this is going to get censored by the shopforum government.....

:EDIT: Moved to the correct forum, Fastlane & AllPartsExpress Feedback.

Hey, the fastlane guys have to eat too, right? Personally I don't mind buying parts from them because I know that some of the profit they make off of me goes to keeping this forum online. I for one, can say that this forum has saved me much more money than any small increase in price could offset.

They seem to be about 5 to 10 percent off from a competitor in texas, but I use them since this forum is helpful.

Look at AllPartsExpress also. That might be a little cheaper. I still don't quite understand the two options.

What I've noticed is that FastLane has stopped offering some of the cheaper versions of certain parts...perhaps due to unsatisfactory quality?

Some comments...

1) Some of the cheaper versions have been dropped in Fastlane
2) There are still some cheaper alternatives in AllPartsExpress because we use different suppliers in that store.
3) Mercedes raised parts prices across the board at the beginning of this year so all of our genuine Mercedes parts went up.

As always, call or email Phil if you have a specific need. He can often find the part at a lower price than it appears in the Fastlane catalog and will pass the lower cost on to you.

regardless, Fastlane is probably the best vendor to buy your parts from.
