Question 1987 300

A coworker of mine has a 1987 300e and does not know how to use the headlight wipers. We all looked for the switch but can not find it. Can anyone help ?

Should be the longer stalk on the left of steering wheel below the cruise control stalk. Rotate end of stalk for speed, each click increases speed.

Wink

The headlight wipers only come on when you activate the windshield washer.

When I first got the 1982 300D, I couldn't figure out how to change the headlights from bright to dim. On American cars, its a repeating pull to toggle back and forth.

So I tried the turn signal stalk in all directions. But I did this while the sunroof was open. Pushed in, got the windshield washer - overspray got occupants through the sunroof. Live and learn.

Your headlights must be on to use the headlight wipers. They activate with the windshield washers.
