Talking A real cure for dreaded RUST

Since my son is a CHEVY lover, (he's young and doesn't know any better yet) we had to find a real cure for rust. On a quiet morning in the country, we can sit on the front porch sipping coffee and listen to the Chevy rust.
Go on line and try POR15.com. This stuff really works, if you follow the instructions. If you don't, it's a waste of money. I did the entire block of my 300SD with this after it got hot tanked. I actually had to let it sit out for a few days to let it accumlate some rust. POR15 only attacks rust.
Try it and let me know. It comes in clear as well as grey, black, and flat black so you can hide it. Don't get it on your hands or you'll have it there for a week if it drys.

I also have rust on all 4 doors on my 2000 E320 4Matic Wagon.

It has been to the dealer twice for pictures. The problem was found as a recall came out to insert a substance similar to silicone between the door sill and weather stripping.

The drivers door has perforated rust and the others are surface rust.

I have to call this week to see what they are going to do about it since the rust warranty in Canada is:

4 years - surface corrosion
5 years - perforated corrosion

I am past the 5 years by 6 months, but only have 95,000km.

The 17 year old doors on my SDL look like new behind the gaskets. No car made in the last 10 years should ever have any sort of rust problems.
