Here's one in the trunk. Notice the diffy cooler and fan in the lower well.
The SBC brake pump and batteries hide in here too.

Take's a special rack to lift them up. It has to be wide enough for the gull-wing doors, yet have arms that can grab the lift points close together.
The arms bolt to the bottom of the chassis for safety.

How's about a $9,000 brake rotor after track use. It should last a couple hundred thousand miles of street use, but racing. Look out!
F&R pads and rotors for the SLR, figure around $52,000. or the base price of a new E350 sedan. Cha Ching!!. They do glow under hard use. Cool.
