Hi all! I am interested in buying the new C-Class that is due in 2001 as my second car. I am keeping my Intrepid that I currently own. The Intrepid is quite a good car except for the "mushy" brakes. So, I am looking to "upgrade" by possibly buying my first Merc.

I have read from several magazine sources that it will be slightly longer and wider than the current W202. The gasoline engines will remain the same until one year later that they will be replaced by a range of new direct injection gasoline engines.

Has anyone here heard anything further about it?

Thank you for your feedback.

There are no official words on what/how the new C-Class will be like. However, if you are really interested, you can go to the "LINK" in the menu on the left site of this site, and there's a link to a site which will give you spy-photos and possible specs for that car. Good luck finding you second love....

Happy Motoring......
