W140 S600 has unique grill, Z-rated tyres, and V12 badges on the C-pillar. How about the W220 S600?? Anything "special" to the car to make it stand out from the crowd.

P.S. W140 S600 has the best looking grill. Wouldn't it be nice to have one on mine 400SE??

Happy Motoring...

Hi akry:

Thanks for your reply about the engine speed that I was enquiring about.

The new S600 would be slightly different from the S500 in terms of appearance. I seen picture of the outside of the car, which it has a different looking wheels from the other S-classes. In opinion, the wheels are not very good looking (look very flat).

Also, I have read somewhere from the post that you live in the Vancouver area of BC. I also live in Vancouver BC.

You also said that you have problems dealing with the local MB dealer. Just curious, which dealer is it? Not long ago when I was at your age (20), everytime I pay a visit to the MB dealer at Broadway Vancouver, no salesmen would approach me. I just visited the dealer at North Van. last two weeks. I was surprised to actually see a salesman approach me to ask if I need any help. It's probably because now I look older at 25, and it does make me seems more like a porpsective buyer. Well, all I can say is that age can make a difference in how people treat you. I think the older you are the more you will be respected.

Thanks, akry.

Hi Johf,

Do you have a pic of the W220 S600?? If you do, please send it via my email, thnx.

Yes, the one on Broadway way doesn't even look at me when I took my car in for service. I sit there for 1 1/2 hour doing nothing. Wait another 30 min because the advisor is busy with a customer!!???(guess I am not qualified as a customer then....). When they delayed the job and couldn't give my car back as planned, they gave me a taxi and send me home?? Come on, at least you have to give me a car for a day. And before/after service, they don't tell me what they have done, but ask me how would I pay?? What the F@#$...(excuse my words, I have been live with it since the day I bought the car, and 'til early last year).

After, I went to the one on North Van, it really is helpful. Especially Grahem(service advisor), he took me out in my car before service, tell me what are the possible causes, then get the car serviced. After they done the job, he took me out again, make sure everything's fine, then hand my key back to me. What a service.

Also, I want to thank C.C. Cheng in Mercedes-Benz in Richmond automall. He would be more than glad to guide me through all the problems, explain everything, then do the service. During the time, he even arrange a car(1998 C230 Kompressor.. )for me while my car is in service. No waiting(well, I can understand that business can get busy, and I am not picky about it). I truely recommand you go check it out, if you haven't.

Hey, maybe we can get all the Mercedesshop members who live in lower mainland to come out and have a coffee together. Maybe we can even setup a casual club or something.....

P.S. There's one White E55 AMG in Mercedes Richmond Automall. It's a 2000 model, with black/silver interior. Fully loaded, except Command Center.

BTW, which model do you have?? just curious..
Regards,
Andy Kuo
