Hi,

Does anyone like or collect Hot Wheels? I'm kind of starting to. Well, it all started when my friend gave me a C-class Hot Wheels car because he knew I like MB. I thought it was nice but didn't think much about Hot Wheels at the time. Anyhow, I still love toys and every time I'm at the mall (which is hardly ever because I hate malls) I have to stop by Kaybee's Toy store Once while I was there, I looked at the "boy toy" section and saw an SLK Hot Wheels. Yep, I had to get it because it looked kind of neat. And, well, after that, I wanted to start a Hot Wheels MB collection. So far, I have the following:

500SL (silver)
SLK (yellow)
3 C-class (red, yellow, blue)
CLK-GTR ot LM (silver)
2 E-class (silver, dark gray, Matchbox brand)
A-class (red, a Matchbox brand)
380SEL (black)

I'm pretty addicted to getting these die cast metal cars now. My so-called collection has now spread to not only MB but also other cars. I keep them in their original packaging now. Here they are:

BMW Z3
Ferrari F40
Lexus SC400
Jaguar XJ220
Panoz GTR-1
and some other neat race cars!

I always get excited when I see a MB Hot Wheels. It's awesome seeing a mini version of something you, and I'm still searching for my 190E Hot Wheels hehe. Anyhow, I thought I'd share this interest with you guys.

Nice to hear that you are enjoying your new hobby, and thanx for sharing it with the rest of us. After readin' your post, I'm actually gettin' kinda eager to go out and see if I can find a toy model of a W124 E-class in black/black...w/ a E420 designation...I'll keep it on my desk next to my computer...and dream about the open road while I work...

Funny that you mentioned collecting die casts. I have started to collect the 1/18th this year, and my collection is a little diverse. I only collect super cars and my fleet includes MB SL500 (of course!), MB SLR (ordered that directly from MB), MB 300SL Gullwing, MB 300SL Convertible, Porsche 911 Carrera Convertible, Ferrari F40, Ferrari 550, Ford GT90, McLaren F1, Lamborghini Diablo SV, and Lamborghini Contach 5000. Looking for a 1984 red Ferrari Testarosa (its discontiued)in prime condition.
