I was wondering how to buy the new C-class in a lower price ? Probably 2000 on top of the invoice ?
Over here at Seattle, we have a long waiting list, so the dealers are not willing to lower a penny.

Cheyun,
You can try calling around to different dealerships but they will only trade a car to the dealership where you live. MB dealerships have territories which they sell new cars in. You could get one from another dealer's stock (price?) but it would be traded to your local dealership. As for a specific place to start...try Tysinger MB in VA. Their customer service is second to none... If you are looking for a huge volume place then RBM of Atlanta is worth a try though I doubt they will budge much on price. The upside there is you might be able to get something right away (or at least sooner)

Hope this helps...Lee

Cheyun,

Have you tried the other local dealerships such as barrier (bellevue), larson (fife/tacoma), Sutherland (spokane), Rassmusen (portland)?

At edmunds.com there is an individual that works for a MB dealership, somewhere, and he goes by the name ecummings or something akin to that. I've seen him post in the topic that covers ML320s and E class MBs.He has implied that you might be able to get a deal of some type. He can't directly say this, of course....

There's also autobytel, and other on-line sources. You can also just start calling MB dealerships in larger cities. Dealerships in larger cities usually have wider array of available models.

All of this being said, MB is not really dealing all that much. They started selling at MSRP in the '00 model year and are dropping down a little on some of the '00 products now that the '01's are coming out, but generally that's about it.

Happy hunting!

…tracy
