For the E420, the engine is perfectly stock
I just put AMG exhaust on it, AMG sill plate(fake one), 2000 e55 rear lights.

Were those E55 lights a straight swap. Did you have to change the wiring harness as well. And how did you get the grill painted?

For the e55 lights swap, it is straight swap for the one in the body, but for the one in the trunk, you have to do little modifications by widening the housing. There is no need to modify any wiring. For the grill, the body shop did it for me for 200 bucks.
