Since the Featured Cars thread is all about recent models discussion and many members often ask about the Mercedes-benz model line configuration, I thought it would be convenient to list the full worldwide Mercedes-Benz line with pics for your reference.

This is the full worldwide Mercedes-Benz line, model by model:

G-class: G 290 CDI / G 400 CDI / G 350 / G 500 / G 55 AMG

Notes:
- The preceeding line compromises models available worldwide around the first quarter of 2006. As M.B. constantly upgrades engines, some X 55 AMG models might have been already been turned to X 63 AMG when you read this list.
- Be advised that not all models might be available at your local market (mostly the U.S.), and that certain limited production models specific for other markets (such as the Middle East or Asia) might not be listed here, eventhough they were on production at the time frame mentioned above.
- Coupe, Touring (station wagon) and cabriolet (convertible) versions for some classes might not also be available with all engine choices listed for each class.
- The S-class, the R-class and the G-class do offer the option of short OR long wheelbase. Usually, the smaller engines on each class are not available with the long wheelbase option. The G-class is also available as a short wheelbase cabriolet (convertible).
- As models are also constantly updated or phased out there will always be variantions, so please consider the above list as general reference only.
- Most models are available with a WIDE choices of options, depending of the markets. Designo editions are available for most classes.

That was nice

Thanks for posting that, A. What's up with the R class? Is it just me or does that look like a misstep for MB? It seems like contamination from their Chrysler side. Do people really want an MB minvan?

So many new MBs for 2006 Line-Good or Bad

Thanks for posting that info, I am sure alot of us was kinda getting lost because of so many different model. Question for readers??? Due to the diversity of so many model being produce by MB, do any of you guys feel that this will benefit or hurt the company?

In the past other automakers discovered that building to many different model was not a good move which resulted in downsizing the company. Please give some feedback?
