Saw new SL on the cover of AutoWeek

Got my attention while cruising the grocery store for my favorite brew.

I like the color chosen for the shoot, and the dash layout (especially the gauges) was stunning!

I liked the 1990-2001 R129 body style but gee whiz! The new one makes the R129 look like a dinosaur!

And at $85K?? What a bargain!

Still making payments on the 95 (bought in 2000), but I sure wish I could run to the dealership for a trade!

It's the wife's car, and she prefers the ragtop look, as well as the contrast of the black cloth over the white paint. She cringes whenever I latch the white hardtop onto the car for the wet winter season, and demonstrates her dislike by not driving it!
