It was the matador on all race courses, the Mercedes-Benz SSK. No other sports-car has minted the Mercedes legend with such lasting effect. In four years it was built between 1928 and 1932 only 35 of the large sports-car wase made. But, it's performance and success on the race track brought it racing immortality along with the nick name ‘white elephants’.
