Drove the A-Class
There is an A-Class making the rounds at Canadian Dealers and just happened to be at the dealer I picked up my new E420 from. They let me take it for a spin and it is pretty cool. Everything about it is pretty different from anything I've seen before and the clutchless manual shifter is pretty cool. You just let off the gas and shift. It drives really well, just like you'd expect from a Benz and its pretty roomy too. TYhey told me it won't be for sale here for a few years yet. Check it out if you get the chance.

Nice...
Is it destined for the States? I can't imagine a car like this being a hit in America, but who knows? Sounds like it has one of those CVT transmissions...?? (ala Subaru Justy, Ford Fiesta). |

I'm pretty sure it will be rolled out in Canada and the US at the same time. It will be even cheaper than the C-Class coupe, maybe by about 5 grand US. In Canada it will sell for about 25 grand while the C-Class coupe starts at 34k. I would buy one for my wife to go to work and do her shopping.
