C 63 AMG Is the DTM Safety Car

The new C 63 AMG will be used in the 2011 DTM season as the safety car. The V8 sports sedan has been only slightly modified. With the AMG Performance Package the 6.3 liter engine now has a peak performance of 358 kW at 600 Nm of torque. The C-Class has been used in the German Touring Car Championship since 2008 and provides for safety, when there are accidents or extreme weather conditions.
