To buy or to wait?
I'm ready to buy my first Mercedes...a 2002 C320. Woo-hoo!
But I have a car-enthusiast friend who insists that I wait for the 2003s to come out (since it's already the end of May and the new ones will be out in the autumn.) So I have a few questions... First, does anyone know if the 2003 will have significant improvements from the 2002? Second, when will the 2003s be coming out? I know they come in the fall, but does that mean the end of August or the middle of October? Finally, I'm seeking advice from the pros. Would you buy now or wait a few months for a "new" car? This is my first visit to your site, and I've found it extremely informative. I look forward to hearing what y'all think. Thanks! Brian Blackburne Dallas, TX |

Well, congratulations for decieding to buy a Mercedes-Benz. The 2003's MY C-Class's will not be much improved...the C-Class is still in it's first phase for it's design, with no body changes planned. If your set on the C-class go for it, but all us "diehard" MB fans know that it's quality is not on par. If I were you I'd look into pre-owned MB with a Starmark warranty. Either way, we'll help you out here at Mercedesshop.com

As stated before, there will not be many changes bewtween the 2002 and 2003 model years. I do like the new C class and if you like it too, then go for it. If you really want the car now, I do not think it will hurt to go for the 2002 model year.
