Ford All Electric Vehicles
I saw a report yesterday on the Motor Trend Channel that Ford is investing many millions of dollars for the development of a 5 passenger pick up that is all electric and is capable of a 400 mile range. The same report stated that Ford and other
auto manufacturers are now concentrating more on the SUV/pick up segment as opposed to regular passenger vehicles. There was a short segment on a 2019 Mercedes coupe/sedan that utilizes a 48 volt system with a starter/alternator that actually produces an additional 150 horsepower. |

One has to wonder what sort of legislation governments will develop to ensure that the drivers of these vehicles pay their share of road taxes. As I understand it, those of us who buy petroleum based products are paying the tax now at the gas/diesel pump.

the future is here. Like all utilities they reap the money in,and don't plan for swelling populations.
