Thanks Ashman

Just wanted to say thanks for the shop info. I thought it best to respond in a new thread instead of being off topic in the original (though I do think 500e's are great!).

Have you heard anything about a shop called "Markels Auto Interiors?" - They are at Robertson & Pico. Took my 400e there to have the drivers seat "rebuilt"- new padding and spring assembly - but it seems as if the seat padding was not repleaced. They also fixed the map pockets on the front doors (they were comming undone) and did a fine job. So I'm wondering if you've heard of anyone else dealing with them and having problems. The shop is clean and there are lots of really nice MBZ there having interior work done.

Thanks,
Tom

Why not voice these concerns to the shop since they did the other things pretty well?

Finally did speak with the owner but he imidiately insisted that "he did the job right" and refuesed to admit otherwise. I could swear that he didn't replace the seat pad - he swears that he did.

My passenger seat DEFINITELY feels better than the dirvers seat. He of course didn't think there was any difference. He finally said he'd try and "shore up" the left side of the seat for $60 though he says it might "feel worse." Needless to say I'm reluctant to have him do anything else. I'm a bit baffeled because he did do a stellar job on my door panels.
